Work Permits & Visas

Payroll
  • Employers must register with the Haitian tax authority (Direction Générale des Impôts) and the Office National d’Assurance Vieillesse (ONA).
  • Payroll is generally processed monthly. Employers must:
    • Withhold income tax
    • Deduct employee social security contributions
    • Pay employer contributions
    • File monthly payroll returns

    • Employer: ~6%
    • Employee: ~6%
  • Additional contributions may apply for workplace insurance and training funds.
